Carrying on the Tradition
A practitioner learns the distinguishing characteristics of ya (arrows) from head instructor and yumi (bow) maker Don Symanski.
Since 1991, he has made yumi and instructed students in the proper appreciation of Kyudo as a meditation path.
Many of the practitioners attending the week-long intensive own a Symanski yumi, and highly praise their qualities.
